UKCA, CE & Product Safety Information

At Gifted It, product safety and customer confidence are important to us. As the manufacturer of many of our products, we take reasonable steps to help ensure that items are suitable for their intended use and comply with applicable UK product safety requirements.

Product Safety & Quality

We carry out design reviews, risk assessments and quality checks as part of our manufacturing process. Where appropriate, representative samples and production batches are tested to help ensure consistency and safety. Testing and inspections are performed on production batches.

Products that are designed or marketed as toys are assessed against the relevant toy safety requirements before being placed on the market.

Traceability

Where applicable, products are assigned batch or production identifiers to support traceability and quality control. We maintain records to assist with product safety monitoring and regulatory compliance.

Product Recalls & Safety Notices

If a product is identified as presenting a safety risk, we may take appropriate corrective action, including issuing safety notices, repairing, replacing or withdrawing products from sale, and conducting a product recall where necessary.

Where we hold sufficient customer contact information, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected customers directly in the event of a product recall or other important safety communication.

UKCA Marking

UKCA marking applies to certain categories of products placed on the market in Great Britain. Not all products require UKCA marking. Where UKCA marking is legally required, we ensure the appropriate conformity assessment requirements have been met before products are placed on the market.

CE Marking

CE marking applies to certain categories of products sold within the European Economic Area and may also be recognised in specific circumstances under current UK regulations. Not all products require CE marking.
